Born and raised in Houston, TX, Courtney Milburn aka Chedda Da Connect has taken the country by storm, but he’s no new jack that got lucky. Growing up in the Cityof Syrup, Chedda’s life story is one that could be narrated by him only, music provides a great escape from the problems of the world for him.
Cheddas passion for music was obvious from a very early age, music was his predetermined destiny. His natural love for recording stemmed from his late grandfather singer Herbert Milburn who led the soul group The LeSabres so its safe to say that music is part of his dna. Chedda didn’t grow up with a silver spoon, but his family was rich off love and faith. As a kid he grew up watching his mother work hard to provide for her family in which he learned that he had to go out and work hard for what he wanted and believed in.

Chedda’s rugged upbringing gives validity to his controversial lyrics. His tenacity and unmatched work ethic is what helped to solidify his fan-base
